Corrupted items can be mirrored?

We technically have a proven scientific fact that clears this all up.

I'm not sure how many of you are interested in physics... But essentially at the quantum level, sub atomic particles locations are not definite and are in fact all probability. The classic design of the atom with particles orbiting around the nucleus is wrong (easier to understand and visualize but technically speaking, wrong).

The act of observing these particles forces them to assume a position, and thus essentially forces change. Think Schrodinger's cat

So.... one could argue... by holding a mirror up to the item, you've caused it to change at the sub atomic level.
