Clarification With Life Leech + Freeze Pulse
So... if I am correct. Freeze pulse will be worthless now with the life leech changes. As only the highest damage from a single pulse hitting a single mob will leech, correct?
And with Vaal pact change, you could not go vaal pact and get enough leech back to ignore reflect. |

Sounds about right. The leech changes definitely favor slow heavy hits over fast multiple hits

Seems to be correct ..
I was really hoping to be able to play a pulsar again but it's just not worth the headache I don't think unless I'm missing something. IGN- Shaeyaena

getting ele life leech as corrupt mods on gear as probably the best bet (but may still not be enough)

" I agree with you on this one. The only way I could see that they could fix it, is a single cast of a spell's total damage would be used to calculate life leech. |

Seriously ggg, casting the only viable selfcaster but discharge/ek
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

Any aoe spell that isn't fire based will be very very hard to leech through now.
I can only assume that elemental leech nodes are making an appearance, otherwise the caster/attacker gap will wider further. Being able to cover reflect via leech is a crucial part of most HC based characters, if you are able to be killed by reflect, the character has a limit to how far it will make it. |
