What Happens When the Domination and Nemesis Leagues End?

Excellent work as always GGG. Got six stars this season and loved every minute. Please bring back the one week races that feed into the four month hardcore league!

It's the mindset of someone that plays ARPG's.
These games are built in totality on items, and getting the best.

You are quite correct in your statement, but it doesn't change the mind of the player. We want the best.

Legacy 'anything' is a game killer.

If IIQ becomes legacy, that's a massive, massive game killer for me at least. It just spoils everything. No, I don't need it, but I want it. I know others have it. I want it. If it's removed it will just ruin everything. Absolutely everything.


I think I couldn't express it better. I have spent last month on domination playing less and less, just waiting for the IIQ from standard. If IIQ turns all of us (new players) so behind from the others, I'll probably be playing less and less, until I quit. Becase then, there won't be any hope for me to get perfect Mf rings and amulet.

I've only been playing PoE for about 3 months now (in Dom) and finally getting used to all the quirks that come with diff bosses/maps/etc. Now as a relatively new player, GGG is considering removing IIQ (which I have almost negligible access to) altogether, putting me at an ever greater disadvantage compared to players who've been in SC longer, means it will not be worth playing any longer for me.

The truly sad part is, I made my first in-game purchase like last week and I loved it. But with this power creep and absurd strength of older accounts, there is no reason for me to bother with farming anything if I won't have access to an equal pool of items/gems as all older players. GGG is really making a huge mistake by making it ridiculous harder for newer players to compete and build their currency/item pool.

How can GGG expect newer players to do ANYTHING at all when it comes time to PVP, when they've been handicapped from the very time they started their accounts? I promise you, make this game hard for the new guys, and it will die off very fast. Its a shame because this is probably the most involved game I've ever played with all its build variations and setups, and the challenges of trying to solo hard bosses or even party in insane maps is thrilling. I suppose it was fun while it lasted.

Should have 2 weeks between the 1.1.0 patch and new leagues start to fix bugs and exploits.
We know that will be another leagues. But you guys are saying that i'll have to abandon months and months of hard effort on playing to play on a totaly new league to be "balanced" again ? Where the f*** is the logic on that argument ? So when i finnaly get a taming on the Standard league, i'll have to keep it there because the game is screwed on Default leagues to play on newer ones ? Wtf ? And worse, the newer leagues are going to be off on 4 or 6 months like Domination/Nemesis, so what's the point ?

Keep playing from scratch on newer leagues to keep your stuff on stash of the default leagues ?

I play mainly standard, as my playing stile makes advance slowly and also i don't have a lot of time to put in the game during most of the year. Also as I mostly play solo to relax form RL and non competitive and I don´t PvP. So I don´t care about legacy items and other legacy issues. I think the main problem with legacy things is what you want from the game and specially form standard league so it's relative to each player expectations.

PD: If you are wondering my only legacy items are two IIQ gems with I don´t use and provably never use. (Legacy in the near future anyway.)

Idk how even anybody can play on Standard League, it's for kids. :) So easy, and so many currency there. So unbalanced, guys like Hegemony ripping off hundreds of newbies, what a kindergarten atmosphere there. :P

Doomed all who did not copmplete their MF set. Legacy items policy expanded over 1.0+ realeses is grotesque. I always laughing my as* off when i see nerfed 5% Running Speed on Wondertrap.

Hope you guys know what you are doing (no, not realy,its obvious random)and your buisness model will work. Few months ago when you pushed revolutionary changes(nerfs)in HP nodes player count has dropped, some players bought bulks of Kaomses for 20 ex each and you started to think serious about co-op with steam.

Short: VERY BAD IDEAS.
