[1.2] Oldschool, cheap and noobfriendly "Sword&Board" Marauder

Those boxes also exist in the normal game, and i think the 1000% rarity mod isn't actually the interesting one.

*contains extra unique
*gems have quality
*gems are levelled
*some quantity and chestlevel on cartographers

Rest isn't too interesting... ;)

I tend to agree. I don't get noticeably better drops from +1000-1500% extra rarity boxes.

Love gem cutter's though with +extra items, support gems only or +chest level mods. Always carry transmutes and alts to craft the gem cutter's boxes because they're totally OP.

Depends on your bank roll I guess! Mine is pathetic, so settling for cheap crafting until I get to end-game/map farming!

hi, my question is, will the build still be viable without the high block chance from BoR ?

and will i survive if i use Abyssus + meginords girdle for big phys dmg but 15% less block chance in endgame maps ?
Yes, you don't need your block to be capped. You don't "need" BoR, but it is obviously a good item.
It's written like 3 times in the guide.

You can use Abyssus if and only if your other gear is near-perfect.
You'll notice yourself if you can use it or not. If not, remove the helmet and equip another.

Another update...

lvl 56, almost all the way through A2 Merciless.

Facetanked everything so far, only deaths from CZ bosses. Actually finally ran into one I had to give up on. That's with having leveled up right before stepping into the CZ so having no fear of death grinding him....after getting 1-shot about 12 times...well you get the idea.

Complete gear check, and I failed it. But to be fair, he had some crazy fast zombies that were doing silly damage all by themselves, then the boss did some fire attack that made me laugh the first few times he hit me (and at 70% fire resist no less).

I've only got a 3L of CWDT, Molten Core and Immortal Call, but it really changed the game. Your Culling, Item Rarity generates rares at an insane speed.

I don't have a Grace or Hatred yet, but Anger and Purity of Elements hold up very well so far.
Wrote a new guide. Might wanna check it out!

So....thoughts on Vaal Reave?

I'd only ever consider using Vaal skills sparingly when they're required e.g. Detonate Dead is great for dealing big damage to bosses or tough mobs after leaving a heap of corpses on the ground from your normal attacks (and having the souls charged up to use). I need it infrequently enough that I almost always have the souls charged and ready to go when I need it.

I could see Vaal Reave being tricky to use in conjuction with your normal Reave and deciding when to use it. For me it wouldn't suit my play style but if you're good at micro-ing your soul charges then maybe it could be useful?
