ah its mostly because most of the rings out there are made by just bench tricks to get 5t1(ex + ex until you get 2tier 1 mods in a row, clean and repeat until you get it) out of 3t1 prefix or 3t1 suffix.

it takes maximum 200-300ex to craft such an item.(sometimes just 30ex or 50ex is enough)

people just hit any 5T1(they even have T2's on their items) nowadays, and write a story to back up all the mods on the item. you can read long stories under every mirror service item nowadays, i'm sure you noticed that lately.

on the other hand skalpo uses eternal orbs to craft his items, so his 6t1 items are not random 5 or 6 mods, they are always aim to benefit a particular build with mods intentionally crafted on.

skalpo won't like i'm sharing this(hehe) but it takes around 600-1000ex to craft a basic item with eternal orbs nowadays. (if lucky)

so, it's oldschool crafting. eats a lot of resources. there is almost no aim to make profit here actually.
