How to find a fishing rod in path of exile

to find a fishing rod one must be wearing a fairgraves tricorn and farming a unique mob, that's it. Thing is it only drops once per league so be sure not to miss it when it does drop. Also i think drop rates are reallly low so will take u a long time to find it.

Or the oldfashioned way.
Just put a sign reading "fishing" on your rod and voila, you have a fishing rod. Just make sure the water is warm enough before trying to fish or your reach isn't going to be very far. " You're close, but the reality is there are a bunch of things you can do (many of which have already been listed in other threads). Without doing any of them, the rod can't and won't drop. The more of them you do, the more likely it is that the rod will drop. For example, if you wear a tricorne that has been eternalled, it will be possible, but if you also type #jabberjawsyoloswag in global chat at the start of the instance, it increases the chances for the drop to happen. The more steps you take, the greater your chance. People can tell me I'm trolling all day long, but facts are facts and I know I'm right.

I thought that to find a fishing rod was the same as for all rare items. You farm for a mind numbing 10000+ hours all the while praying to the RNG gods that the next drop will be a fishing rod. Your next drop is not a fishing rod so you keep on playing until you are a PoE zombie gamer with no-life and little to show for the time sink. Since RNG is so fundamental to GGG after all this time and no better system of crafting RNG now equals ROTTEN NASTY GAME mechanic. So much RNG, so little skill, the devs might have called their game Path of RNG. At least it would be a more "apt, apt, apt" title. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
