Another thing I'd like to know is if there is a "Minion" tag on this skill. It wouldn't make sense in terms of the damaging ground effect (it would if the corpses deal the damage) but in terms of the corpses. This would also offer different ways to specialize this skill (e.g. Minion Life for Detonate Dead ).
I am curious if there is a focus on "strong corpses" or the damage of the ground effect. I hope that both will be usable if gemed correctly.

Highly recommend to stop using Vitality, I exchange it for Life Leech support gem and I dont regret. And there's no problem with playing without Grace.

Why you dont kill creeps with skeletons? There will be enough corpses in 1 minute.

The only problem here are spectres, because you need exact spectres. And there's no spectres memory, thats really painfull.



vitality is not as good as flat regen from rejuvenation totem and mobs hate it. take shadow aura nodes. if u have good flasks the rejuvenation totem + flask ur minions cant die.



+ rejuvenation totem is amazin. for example 2% of 4k hp is 80. getting actual 2% from from vitality is next to impossible. rejuvenation totem at lvl 20 is 112.x. especially in the case of heavy aura node user. do the math =D

That's always been the main problem for summons, they die too fast even with all passives and support; take Dominus for example, if the fight is already started and you take a tp back to the room, during loading they start attacking stuff and get deleted before you actually see your character -.-
They need something to slightly reduce aoe damage taken too.

Fully agreed that.As I think since the summoner have not powerful skills to deal direct damage and are easy to die,at least the minions could hold on for several minutes to give u a chance to make monsters down slowly.Now it happened that minions were taken down in short time ,even in seconds and I use all the skills,gems and it has no difference,especially chaos damage.

Despite the advantages and gems and passives, what I don't understand is in playstyle, what's the difference between a "summoner of raging spirits" and a "fireball mage"?

What if fireball was renamed to "fire spirit", does the mage become a summoner, too?

Vitality gets better than totem later on, your zombies have much more than 4Khp, mine have 6.5Khp and i don't use montregul nor minion life gem nor uniques boosting %minion life, it's easy to get way past 10K and also past 2% on vit, and 2% of 10K is already 200. Not that you need to chose since they stack just fine but if droping one it's definately going to be rejuv later on and vitality earlier on.

Also flasks being flat damage based scale very badly, take your flask for example, half of 960 over 8 sec = 480/8 = a measly 60hp regen per second, once per flask charge, if your zombie with vitality is dieing, adding a small life regen won't really help, so that's another one that scales poorly with zombie hp.

Any chance we'll see some form of chaos protection at some point for our minions? Like adding it to minion elemental resistance and making it minion resistance instead, giving that gem a nice boost? Or maybe making a purity of chaos as i assume adding chaos to purity of elements would kinda drop the point of chaos being harder to attain?
FML, just build hatred aura and add cold damage for my spectres few days ago and now new buff gems come out with consumes corpses!!! T_T
