Wondering if they will make this thing benefit from both spell damage and summoner nodes.
Excited to see what support gems are working with this.
Also would be good if although its a minion, its powers would mostly be enhanced by spelldmg / firedmg modifiers rather than minion modifiers.
But I doubt this since there will be the new "summoner" support gems, which would boost this.

why not just summon those fire dogs that explode on death? those skulls summons does not really look like summons .

Looks like it could be interesting. Maybe it will have duration as a mod as well. Wonder if this will turn into a volume spell and how it might work with totems. Looks like you cast a gaggle of them, they choose a target themselves and that's how they're minions, they have their own targeting AI? It looks like they had health as well a fairly short duration. Most of the mobs were one shot so I'm curious how they handle damage like high volumes of spells coming towards them in the path they intend to take or how they handle stun, chill etc.


Anyhow, it looks pretty cool and new in this game anyway. Would be interesting if you had melee splash, increased duration and minion speed on them. Can't wait to see how they fit into the summoner scheme of things. Maybe we'll start seeing totems spewing out these lil bastards ^^.
can we use multi projectiles with this ? if so then very very cool
Looks like they have a short life span,I wonder if increasing duration will allow them to attack more enemies(they veer off after hitting an enemy but then disappear).It looks like there will be a mass of choices to be made with the skill anyway.
Are these fireballs the minions, like zombies and skeletons? If the answer is yes - will they explode when they died, same as other minions with Minion Instability?

Is their fireball form constant or are they effect of support gem, which you can link to other projectile skills?

I have a lot of question after this presentation ;) but no matter of what is the answer...
Please, make new BLUE summoner gems. BLUE! Not red or green, because they will be useless.
