ExileRaceTracker - Display some interesting info during a race

Hi fellow exiles,

Here is [Removed by Support], a simple AutoIt script that will display some informations during a race like your global and class position, xp between you and the guy before you,...

I don't currently provide a compiled script, you will have to install AutoIt. (I might be if people want me to and are crazy enough to trust a perfect stranger)

This shouldn't be against GGG's rules as it only uses the API they provides.

[Edit] Some people are experiencing issues at the 1st launch (the script is only displaying the clock). The reason is that the account name wasn't saved correctly. To fix this you can press Shift + Alt + A and the script will ask for a new account name.

Good idea, making races more interesting. How about something like a horse race with Chris

It's unfortunate that scripts like these aren't allowed/endorsed on the forum.

But it's pretty cool. :)

Will I get banned for using it?

Because I think this is amazing!

I've been contacted by Dan_GGG about the script and he said it's ok.

You shoulnd be banned because the script doesn't touch the game at all, it's just something displayed on top of the game and use only the PoE API.

You can even use it while watching some live race on twitch to follow the progress of the streamer. The game doesn't need to be launched at all.

Heh, I was making something very similar to this myself, except it also displayed upcoming events with timers (I tend to miss the notifications when I'm too busy farming :(). nice work!

I was like you missing notifications... but I found a nice android app that display all the races and you can subscibe to the ones you want to do. (But I think there is only one notification 30 minutes before) It's called PoE Events.

If you are interested in adding features.

1. XP/Hour
2. Time until race ends.
3. An indicator of the latest XP rate and what level you can expect to be at the race end.

I don't race against other people but just to get the low hanging points.

Can we get someone from GGG to post here, so we know that we can run it? This looks like an awesome tool, and if I get the okay I'll start using immediately. Good job OP.
