Useless as always. GGG improves everything about microtransiction, but they can never fix the lag problems and desyncs. What is this? Damn useless patches, it changes almost nothing, only new items and new weapon, armour effects. Please improve the memory recovery RAM system, fix a bit of desync and a lag one. Why u cant just do the right thing?
path of microtransactions.... poor, very poor development... ggg don't monetise their game, they rather monetise their microtransactions.. microtransactions are NO CONTENT..

yeah, why not just fire the guys making MTX, who needs income ? right ?
And uniques that are hard to obtain, like in "unique" ? Whoah, mind boggled
You start to loose faith in the PoE item system when the same low level Uniques drop again and again, even in high level maps. So these may not be that "Unique" like other Uniques. ;)
Oh, and I guess for the moment there are enough micro transactions ingame, what else could be done there that is not already made? The BlingBling Factor is already incredible high in PoE or do you still miss something there?

both -1
u both clearly dont follow every news post [Removed by Admin]
they offer their game for free and make money by selling microtransactions, like it or not.
once more: there is 1 guy making microtransactions to keep supporters happy and get more supporters, so the rest of the team can get paid for the programming of all the other stuff in and around the game. the one guy isnt educated for programming all the other stuff so dont expect him to.
if u watch the interview the Athene did with Chris recently it might give u a better view on why the fixing of desync is taking so long. protip for winers about time: put it in the background while farming.
besides, this is only a preview on the upcomming microtransactions, the whole patchnotes arent even posted, dont cry before u know what u get.
stop complaining and start supporting.

I read something in the comments of one of the videos that I thought might actually be worthwhile--allow pets to challenge each other while in town.
While otherwise trivial, it'd give you something to do with your pets once purchased, and would make for some awesome advertising for more mtx sales. Give each pet a variety of stats and/or skills, and let RNG sort out the rest. Mock up a daily pet-duel leader board. Not much effort has to be placed on balance, as the whole ordeal is purely for vanity's sake, but I think there is a lot of potential here to make a really neat mini-game for otherwise functionally useless pets. Potential that could be worth the development costs by not only incentivizing more pet mtx sales (to buy a pet in the first place, but also a diverse selection of pets as their stats could generate a pet-duel meta game), but also by providing more in-game idle activity for players otherwise just lazing about town trading/chatting.
It could fit well with the atmosphere as well, by adding lore that fits along the lines of cock fighting (it doesn't have to be a campy Professor Oak "collect these exotic monsters and fill your pokedex!" sort of thing, but a Shadow-like npc that was exiled for operating illegal animal fighting and gambling rings).
Overall, I think the idea is absofuckinglutely awesome, and is of the absolute most importance!

I totally agree with this! It will take some development cost- but I think pet sales would go through the roof! It would definitely make me consider buying more pets, and make hanging around town while trading more entertaining.

On a side note... I want some meaty news.
There's this awesome 1.1.0 patch coming out in early March. It's got lots of cool stuff but we can't talk about it just yet. There will be lots of meaty news for you about it in February!
To clarify, Act 4 is not included, it's far too early.
Here's to hoping there is no passive reset needed with the 1.1.0 march patch. Destroying peoples builds will not be cool. :)
