IS there a damage meter in the game, or is there going to be one?

Something like recount from World of Warcraft, it can be an invaluable tool to help you build and measure your dps.

I'm about 90% sure the dps # takes your crit, crit dmg, and any other mods into effect, though it can be miss leading when u have something on it like fork or chain... link it to a crit chance gem and see if it mods the dps. also you can get a pretty good break down of what your skill is doing in the character tab. ex hit chance, crit, crit dmg...

Ahh ok cool, wan't aware of that. I still think something like recount would be cool for parties to see how you stack up to others though, it could help with improving yourself.

I don't agree, or disagree, but I think everyone's goal is to kill stuff in 1 hit so meh. to each there own I suppose. gl on your journey!

" Press C to pull up your char. screen, right near the top above the text box with all the info on your basic attack you can select one of your active skills and it gives you detailed info. So you can look up your crit chance and crit mult. in game to on a per skill basis. Than just pull out a calculator/spreadsheet app. and do some math. But to answer your question, no, there isn't any kind of damage meter in game I doubt here they plan to implement on. |

Yeah, in case crits and stuff arent auto-calculated in-game in the mouseover DPS display, you can do the math yourself on a spreadsheet. That's how I build all my toons.

I wish there was an optional dps/damage done/damage taken meter displayed by party members. Mostly for entertainment. To show off and other fun purposes. We play game for fun or to achieve and show something, so why not.
