New skillgems are added as quest rewards when they get added into the game. Check the 1.0.4 patch notes when the patch goes live to see what quests give flameblast.

Anyone else getting a (really good) Diablo 1 vibe from Flameblast?

I just seem to vaguely remember a circle of fire spell there that I would cast, monster AI would wait for it to end to walk through so I would step forward a step and cast another circle that landed right on top of them ;)

I hope there will be some good synergies with other skills, I wanted to play ele caster for a while but all the spells available seems either bad or just pure main stream.
