Honestly, unless you want the silver kiwi or forum title that much more, wait and just get micro-transaction points in open beta. It's not like they won't appreciate your money as much tomorrow as they would today. Plus, you will potentially get a small amount more of microtransaction points per dollar in open beta. The prepurchase packs are for those who want what is in them.
