Massive news update

Either the patch notes are Arcen Games sized and they're too busy making the patch notes to tell us the patch notes, or GGG is just waiting for tomorrow.

The first one would be a creative way to delay people jumping on the server though. :)

We'll probably be finalising the Patch Notes on Sunday or Monday, once we get back and have a chance to go through everyone's work to see what will be merged into the initial 0.10.0 deploy.

Not good... 29 hours. And i tomorrow work to 22:00 PM and can't play.

Isn't it like Wednesday in New Zealand now? Where are the patch notes they said would come out sunday or monday ???
Dont promise anything you can't keep. I don't care too much about patch note. i still will be playing when OB launches, BUT...I don't like things when devs puts a date on someting and nothing happens and no feedback to community. Hope they dont do that again.

the key word in Chris' reply was Probably, not a promise. Just to be fair.

Patience is virtue. The patch notes come when they come.

Technically yes, it is wednesday in new zealand.

But its also 5:12 am. Tis kinda really early for them.

No date was ever promised. Chris stated that "probably" the patch notes would be finalized on Sunday or Monday. Probably isn't a set date by any means. Neither does finalizing the patch notes mean getting them to us. Even after all changes are set (patch notes cant be finalized until the last changes are made), they still all have to be documented, cleaned up and put in a format we can read/understand, ect before we see them.

I want the patch notes / Open beta skill tree just as much as everyone else, but lets not jump all over the devs for breaking promises particularly when they haven't made them. Remember this is NOT the games RELEASE, we are simply moving from the closed beta to open beta phase.

Also remember we won't see the new skilldrasil until it patches anyway, since thats how the site works if I remember correctly.
