2. There are several auras in this build that are quite useless. Purity of Elements and Mana Reg are typically not needed by anyone in the party. However, the three damage auras, the other three purity auras as well as the ES aura, the life reg aura and the haste aura provide an incredible boost to party play. So I would think that running those 9 is far superior to the described setup.

3. Using double incinerate totem might be a really good idea. Do this with a level 1 and quality 20 incinerate and you do not need any mana reg to be able to chain cast the totem. Also you need way less mana that is not reserved.

1) So the trade off here would be 246% es in your tree for 8% aura effect and 5% reduced reserve to the 302% in my tree.. I will admit I die much less these days, but that is a good amount of ES to sacrifice.. I would have to think about it, very good feedback though.

2) Yea I dropped purity of elements and put ice on my life so I can run all 3 damage auras, you are right here, in the early phases of build I needed purity of Elements to max my res but now I am maxed with the level 20 purities.

3) So another person was suggesting using incinerate too, I gave the spell a shot a couple nights ago and I could see it working pretty well actually, I just would need to recolor my shavs which I want to be ABSOLUTELY sure that the new setup is better before I do that. The fact that the totems are a bit more squishy is the only thing I don't like, but I think that trade off is fair. Flame totem I think is a bit better for culling, but incinerate would provide reliable enough culling to I think.

Good post man your feedback is pretty much what I've ran into now that I am chain running 77/78 maps too. What is your E.S. at with 246%? I think if I got a 400ES circlet I could drop some of my ES to get that other aura cluster maybe..

Oh man, I am such a noob. I had to do a complete respec and simply missed those four points. I guess posting my tree has already payed off ;). Also there is one point from the bandit rewards still missing.

As for 1): it is much more than a simple 5% reduction. Since the bonus from the passive tree and the prism guardian are additive, those final 5% are really worth a lot. Also at level 96+ I will have both: max es bonus and all aura nodes. Since my gear is quite good es-whise (I played this char since open beta started). So, with the current spec I am at a little below 8k es.

Regarding incinerate: I really think it is worth it, but you absolutely need this to be a level 1, 20% gem. With less quality the range simply sucks, with a higher level you do not get the benefit of an extremely cheap cast.

I did the match and the 5% was just enough to leave me 4 HP after 4 60% auras. I made the switch but lost a lot of ES and had to pickup a +30 dex node. However, I intend on making it up by upgrading my 200ES helm to a 400ES Helm. Overall I like this setup more, good suggestions.

As for incinerate I still need to look into that.. I am not sure I am sold, the projectiles seem to be concurrent with small delays between.. as opposed to the stead stream of flame totem. I can't tell if incinerate will be much less reliable for culling or not. I Need to do testing, are you using incinerate for your setup?

This is the build I am running [1], I like the changes but I am not sure I like incinerate totem very much yet.. need to play it some more. It feels like it doesn't cull as well as flame totem. But I think I can live with that the mana cost is very nice, plus I don't want to RRBBGG my shavs again anytime soon :- )

I don't think you should run this version till you are 88-90, have level 20 Discipline and have a good ES helm (I Got a new 300+ es helm with 45+ rarity) because you lose a good amount of ES. Also you need ALL your purity of fire, ice, lightning maxed in order to be capped if you don't have res on helm.

That said.. we do not focus on doing damage at all, I use a level 1 incinerate at the moment and it does no damage at all. That is okay though, because some team mates gain 30-40% damage, some even have their damage doubled or more depending on the spec. They get Haste, Hatred, Anger, Wrath for DPS and they are all super strong with all the +Effect nodes. So yea, don't worry about your own dps, you are bringing more DPS to the table then any single player ever could, plus you are culling :D

I am currently at my parent's place with no access to POE - I have not extensively tested flame totem based culling (I have respecced from a double ice spear totem dps/mf build and was hesitant to recolor my shavs). I will give it a try next weekend, though.

Regarding your skill tree: do you still need that Path of the Savant right below the big cluster of es nodes? Otherwhise it looks very good!
