Triple Monitor Support - 5760x1080 Resolution: UI Issue

necro bump!

Is it possible to center the HUD for multi monitor setups? Would be highly appreciated! :)
3 monitor Custom UI would be nice :)
Since some people argue that multi-monitor means advantage, why not create one or more leagues specifically for higher resolutions. that way only people who accept the possible disadvantages of playing in a multi-monitor supported instance have to worry about it. If you don't want to deal with it, don't play that league. Then there is nothing unfair about it as it becomes all player choice.

I wouldn't hold your breath for any eyefinity support, all you have there is a legal zoom hack which they won't ban you for and that pisses of many people.

The UI is one of the focuses of the act 4 expansion, there might be a solution for you wrap-around resolution people soon.

The UI doesn't need to be centred. The problem is with allowing that aspect ratio in the first place.

PoE should be forced into 16:9, 16:10, and/or 4:3 (with letterboxing if required). So long as it isn't, all you have to do is walk up or down to explore a map because you can see so far sideways.

Yeah, lets limit a PC game to hard-coded outdated resolutions because some people don't want to (or ever plan to) upgrade their equipment to match people who do. For the record, 21:9 consumer displays exist today.

I spent about $180 on my Eyefinity setup (2 monitors at $80-each at the time (which are now like $40-60) + an active adapter). Of course I already had a GPU capable of handling multiple screens though (a 7850, which is hardly top-end and relatively cheap nowadays), on-top of having a single monitor to start with.

Eyefinity can be relatively cheap to get into, or can be pricey, but it all depends on what you have to work with, and/or what you want (3 cheap displays vs 3 good ones, maybe 5 moderately good screens and Crossfire/SLI, etc).

This is as much of a "hack" as people using 720p vs 1080p screens, 125Hz mice vs 1000Hz mice, or even 60Hz vs 120Hz screens (the latter of all those scenarios having benefits over the former).

Eyefinity/Surround use consumer monitors, combines them together, and makes a single large screen. The hardware needed for this is available for anyone to pick-up and use (pretty sure no country bans the use of multiple monitors).

The current way Eyefinity works in PoE is that you can see the ground further than non-Eyefinity users. Enemies and environment destructible however will disappear past a certain point (probably around 2k resolution, but don't quote me on that), and the target-able range of these enemies/objects is even smaller than that. So no, there is no unfair advantage here, unless you want to also outlandishly consider anyone using past a 1080p screen (the "standard") to be "hacking".

If the UI can be centered (either via the game itself, or preferably via Eyefinity SDK like GW2 does), and possibly the FOV fixed so the fish-eye effect doesn't exist, Eyefinity would be nice with PoE. As it stands currently, PoE is pretty playable though, but those above fixes would make it better.

Hello all,

I've been just suffering in silence with this issue and resigned to playing on a single monitor until today. Found a great little tool that lets me mirror areas on the screen in a movable window so I con position it within the main monitor.

It mirrors in real time and I haven't noticed any performance loss.

It's called On Top Replica - check it out if you like.
