When diablo 3 RoS comes out, PoE will die and the future will repeat itself

Why pay 30€ for cinematics when they are on youtube for free?

I hardly play PoE since I have no time and I certainly will not be buying RoS.
I wish Blizz the best of luck with RoS as lots of people still hold hope for the game. I am not one of those people.

i played poe for the last day while watching d3ros streams on my other monitor... the only thing that got me on d3ros was that players actually hit the stuff that they are attacking... i think GGG should get rid of all the fucking desync creating calculations and should use the same sync system d3 has.

No matter how mad at Blizz some of you are (D3 not true successor to D2 and all that), there is one horrid thing no other ARPG ever did or is doing, except PoE: gating gameplay content behind the need to trade.

Not even evil Blizz is so stupid to gate gameplay content behind trading.

RoS version of endgame "maps" will at least be playable for everybody, without you needing to involve yourself with trading and all that shopping crap.

RoS has nothing on PoE anyway. Most of the new features are just distractions, the maps and adventure mode don't mean shit without a reason to do them, so the only things that matter are the ladders, which will probably last 6 months with nothing interesting in between. There probably won't be real PvP either. There is just no reason to play the game past a few weeks. And on top of that Blizzard are shit developers that don't even remotely care about the community at this point, so we won't hear much from them and nothing big will get added to the game until the next expansion 2 years later, all while PoE is getting new content every 2 weeks and new big updates every 4 months.


At the same time, I do think GGG need improve the combat and make things "smoother", like removing the evasion/block/dodge/anything else that makes attack miss from mobs, they are fine on players, just to make gameplay so much smoother.

That's actually a creative point I can do the whole trading sitting my ass in a channel spamming shit for a couple of hours even 12 hours but the question is can most of you do it? I highly doubt it

I did that shit for twelve fucking hours 108 regrets mind you wasn't too fun anyway I can see why they took out the trade thing and they were right. The whole finding loot that's actually useful towards you is actually pretty nice rather then trading and bartering and all that shit. Drop rates increased yada yada smart drops

I actually like it but well see what happens really I can play both not a huge deal.
