Chris, any info about a possible desync fix? This is the No1 problem of every single PoE player i know.

If you cant fix it, just pls be polite and say it. Don't let us hoping for a solution. Desync is really game breaking...

HI. My name is Dave.

Now you know someone for whom this is not the number one problem. I honestly don't care about it.
Yup...another news post riddled with retards complaining about desync and screaming for updates/fixes/"some word from the devs on the mater". Not one has gone back and read the past updates and become informed on the progress of the matter.

Everyone bitching about desync - the answer to your complaints is already posted in another forum. It is not the devs/Chris's job to reexplain themselves every time you RIP to a voidbear. Bunch of <I like flowers and puppies> if you ask me...

We were blown away by the participation numbers - it's crazy to see eight to ten thousand characters enter an event!
Didn't the first race from original Descent have over 10k chars? I'm blown away that the game has launched and is on Steam and theres still only 8-10k chars entering races.(for now)

yeah. the mentioned 10k race participants also made me worry a bit. 10k is really not much when you consider that poe is released ....

I agree. I think GGG should implement something where every account that posts an off-topic whine desync gets lagged for the next week.

The raw number isn't important, the fact that, as Chris said, the numbers now blow OB numbers out of the water is.

Course, I wouldn't have responded to Magnicon2 in the first place. He loves to just post and take shots at GGG because... I don't know why actually. He just does.

There needs to be a forum bot that bans anyone who types "desync". What don't you guys understand? It can't be fixed.
IDK why GGG never addresses this, but the Desync is because its a free game with a company of 45 people. The servers hosting the game are not the multimillion dollar siege tanks of destiny that can handle anything in the world.

So, i for one am willing to take the pointed barb that is a "desync death by shock stacks and those exploding red bugs" because its a free game that continually changes its content and listens to its fan base.

quote="Azninja"]additional employees? does that mean something might finally be done about the only evil of PoE that is desync?[/quote]
Desync as part of an online game is to be expected. What definitely can be done though, is the "prediction" algorithm that projects one forward into "death rooms". If that "prediction" part is fixed, the desync complaints would drop drastically.
