No events for times that are better for us in the EU?
Well I can make it then I think to 2 and maybe 3 since those in a time frame I can attend aren't in the weekend and I ain't skipping sleep when I need to go to school the next day.

Any reason the races are on the middle of work days (Mon-Fri) and not in the evenings?
I'm sure there are still people able to race but clearly not those at work / school?
They're in the middle of work days because we run them while we're at work. We don't get have 24/7 staff yet who will be able to run events during the night in our timezone, but hope to soon.

So many events, nice. I also agree it would be great to have more 1 week events. I find myself liking the longer events more now as there is more freedom with build choice and you can play less recklessly reducing the risk of untimely death.

Is this just a case of wanting a warm body present if something goes wrong; or is the infrastructure needed to schedule races in advance somewhere on your TODO list?
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I guess I wouldn't last long in any HC race yet, but I will definitely enjoy watching these events :)
You never know until you try! I didn't think I'd ever want to play HC, but with a 2 hour window and a disposable character, why not? I managed somehow to survive the first race until near the very end, and it was more excitement and fun than I anticipated. I was amazed at how quickly the other players moved and by my third race managed to get a "first" myself (first player to enter Tidal Island).
In the end, I was more attached to these 'disposable' characters than my other ones and kept pushing them farther and playing them longer (even when they eventually fell into the default league).
Now, if I can just find an exalted orb at least once.
