Ok so what do you want.. One guarantee drop of the map? For example you always drop one lvl 74 map if you run lvl 74 map? Than you can run them forever and there will be no fun to search them, because you always find one. RARE stuff should stay RARE. When it becomes common, its not RARE anymore..
Rare STUFF should stay rare. CONTENT shouldn't require rare items that cost currency to play just to hope for a chance to get said rare stuff. RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG is too much damn RNG.
^this. Even if we all could enter a lvl78 map with hard mods on it without spending 40 chaos to roll it, it will stay hard to do and not everyone could do it. Removing the RNG factor of map system AND the fact that you need a countless amount of currencies to roll them doesn't make the game easier, it just removes that idea that you need to pay currencies just to play the game (because yes, once you hit end game, there is nothing else to do than doing maps).

Trading is part of the game, its knowledge and its skill.. U need to what to pick up, how to store it in your limited inventory and when and to who you can sell it. You need to know prices and spent lot of time on trading chat.. You dont have to trade, you can spend that time in game playing.. But dont be surprised that people who trade has more wealth.. They deserved it.. Maybe they werent lazy to trade..
There's a difference between 'too lazy to trade' and 'don't enjoy trading'. For many people, trading is NOT part of the game. It's an action-RPG, not an economic-RPG. In all my years of gaming (which is quite a few) I've never seen an ARPG where the endgame content couldn't be reached by a single motivated, skilled and knowledgable player adventuring through the game and making use of what he found to get there. I would argue that you cannot reach level 77 maps by doing that here.

Awesome change. Should also flag Dominus as a Map boss, since he is harder than most maps!

The problem with the current map system is that it basically demands the creation of lower and upper class players and when they announced the buffing of regular bosses drops coupled with map only uniques it became even more apparent to me that is the actual intention rather than a side effect. The upper class of player is your basic nolifer with a big group of ingame friends that roll high level maps drop high rarity items that they trade in exchange for extreme ammounts of currency because their rare item supply is limited, they use said currency to roll more maps repeat. Who do they trade with? The lower class players who are by necesity much more numerous or there wouldn't be enough currency for the upper class to keep the system going. They got higher drop rates from regular act bosses so they can be even better providers for their betters. This system resembles very much feudalism. Why would ggg desire such a system or worse encourage it is beyond me. Crafting is molded in the same manner, for every amazing item attempted to be crafted lots of peons worth of currency is required. All in all it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.
is it bad that people who invest time get an advantage over people who casually play .. are you sure that you are on the right page here m8 ?

yes!!!!
why should there be such a high RNG factor and currency gate to get to high level maps...Once you get to the high level maps (by getting lucky and dropping a lot of currency) you are just slapped in the face with a ridiculous amount of RNG!

Typicall Answers here People got lvl 77s maps all the time so i have to be a noob because :
- I dont have or want a group of 10+ people to map with
- because i dont wanna play maps 12+ hours a day
- because i dont have a stream I can sell stuff to or get feeded items
- because i dont use d2jsp
ect
(note i dont accuse anyone of doing these thing in particular but thats what happens)
If you have to trade to win might as well add an Auction House but thats toally lunatic again and would ruin the game right ?

Darn, I wasted a lot of time farming for a certain item, guess it won't drop. Time to level up, pup! Well done, Christina!
