Open Beta Date Announced

And now we have a date to throw around instead of saying "late December" :)
And not to worry, many of us have plenty of great things we are waiting for, what's one more awesome addition to the list?

As a business owner, I understand how difficult it can be to tell an eager customer they'll have to wait. So, good on GGG for having the sense and foresight to allow for their employees to rest up, and ensure all the kinks are worked out before launch.

I think we would all prefer waiting a few extra weeks over a bug-ridden, nightmare of a launch. Players can be pretty fickle, and I'd hate to see a large portion of them turned away from PoE merely out of frustration with launch-day hiccups. I wish some of the bigger game developers out there would take a page from GGG's book.

Could someone please give me a beta key? :\ Ill be over a month till the game releases and I've been waiting for one since June 2012 :( Its good to know the OBT date but its rather far...

My only disappointment is that I will not get to see the new content before the end of the world. =)

Hope everyone at GGG enjoys the break, you all deserve one! Also glad to hear our supporter titles will not be able to be obtained in Open Beta. My regular supporter title may be not as great as all the other ones out there, but I'm still proud of it!
