Orchard boss
museum is ok if you are able to pull bosses separately.
double orchard is no problem because you can separate the bosses, apart from the boss being way too strong. unavoidable 2+k hits in a 66 map definetely leads to "build diversity" | |
That plus the really nasty performance and desync issues I have in the tileset (still unoptimized I guess). I simply don't run it.

Yea I Avoid Tunneltrap, I clear the rest of the map around his platform because he simply has no balance, just a blast of power and speed and aoe, not to mention the animations are not even accurate.c'mon lets be realistic here....a lvl 66 map and he hits for 2-3k regardless of stacked armor/end charges? Sure we enjoy a good challenge, but this simply does not pan out.

" This boss really need some nerf. I have 10k armor, 4,5k life and I was almost 1 shot by him. Like everyone said, for a level 66 map he is too OP! About the museum map, maybe a few nerfs in there would be good too. That boobies monster does tons of damage!! |

I must have been hit with a crit or something but assuming its fire damage I have 77 fire resist and he brought me from 5K to under 1K in one hit
a 4K+ hit is pretty ridiculous in my opinion for a 66 map boss I'll never do this boss again S L O W E R

Too OP for a 66 map boss.
I'll be skipping this one as melee, and I'm not even in a hardcore league. |

My party member and I went into that boss room, the thing surfaced, something exploded. My party member logged out INSTANTLY. While I was running around like a headless chicken trying to avoid the balls of death or wtfever, my party member logs in again and tells me he logged out with a few hundred HP left, he had 5.4k (though I guess not entirely at full HP when he was hit, but close). I quit too.

Not just the boss but Devourers in general needs a huge nerf.
They seems as bugged as Carrion Queens was in the last patch. With a lvl83 char i'm facerolling lvl66-68 content, but a few days ago i rolled a thicket map with rare mob packs mod and got devourer roll, imagine rare devourers as much as usual little monkeys coming up from the ground, and my 5.1k hp went down to 100 in a matter of second while i ran away. Not to mention they all coming after me underground, so i decided to leave the map. No other mobs force me to do this in this game, you can put evangelist with all the puncture mobs along with bone rhoas and necromancers i can do that anytime, anywhere, but devourers are just that OP. "I'm programmed to say something that is kind and uplifting at this point, but there is apparently an error that is working in my favor."

It seems to me that, when fought with a ranged character, Tunneltrap wouldn't be too outlandish. The slow-moving, hard-hitting projectile is, well, a slow-moving, hard-hiting projectile, so it's kind of like a Vaal Smash that moves.
However, when fought as melee, Tunneltrap borders on ridiculous. My Nemesis character easily tanks Hillock, but doesn't tangle with Tunneltrap, because I can't avoid his projectiles when fighting at point blank range. I got hit by one, and I'm pretty sure I would be RIP if it was a crit (I didn't ignite, so it probably wasn't). Hits like a damn mack truck. I do think he's overtuned, but I think it's an AI overtune, not a numbers thing. Just make it so Tunneltrap doesn't use that projectile when engaging a character within melee range (if he's targeting far-off Party Member A, and Party Member B is in melee range between the two, then that's still fair game — Party Member B should have grown a brain and went to melee him on the other side). I'm not against telegraphed "one-shot" mechanics, but I am against non-telegraphed ones. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

the real problem is the auto-hit that the unborrowing devourers do... just unfair. a pack of blue devourers is op as hell!
