I don't think the current changes to Cast when Damage Taken are so bad (can only trigger once every 250ms now), but what are your thoughts? They also said more changes to this gem will be coming. " if i understood it correctly i think you use viper just to get the stacks rolling on the mob and then switch back to EK to stack the dps of viper and EK. That's correct. " I just reached level 60 with this build. I have around 4700 HP. I'm not sure where do I go in the skill tree at this point? Do I try to get the HP nodes with chaos resistance (top left) or do I go for Golem's Blood under Iron Reflex? Also when do I get the armour node (Faith and Steel)? Also the 6th endurance charge? How often do you get stunned? I have Unwavering Stance right now but I'm thinking of respeccing out. I am closely following this build on my pretty much first character in Domination. I am level 42 now with around 2.7k hp and maxed resistances. The problem is only that my EK is doing shitty damage, around 300dps at the moment. My weapon is largely to blame for this, I just havent found anything better yet and I can't really wear a wand because I only have 60ish int at this point. Here's my gear (I actually got pretty lucky with drops so far concerning survivability): everything self found except some gems, mainly Blood Magic and Projectile Weakness. edit: it should be noted that even though I don't play in a hardcore league, I play my characters as if I were on hardcore, which means as soon as I die once I quit the character. I just don't wanna lose my items in the league, that's why I play scrubcore. So survivability is a must for me, that's why I follow this guide. @Realyn I know this is "tanky build" but do you think that near 7k dps is pretty low for high lvl maps? I'm asking because I found some other tanky builds (that are using arctic armor and some other stuff) and they have like 19-28k dps on 85 lvl with just rare gear. Some of them are based on CI/ES so they are probably safer than pure HP stacking build. Of course if someone play stupid, he will die anyway ... I'm worrying about the same problem as cococcombo have right now - dmg issues/mana issues on early levels. At lvl 40-45 you dont have to many Int Nodes so you are limited to dagger/dual daggers or you forced to buy some nice Amulets with 2x +int bonus and some ress/cast speed. And even with that, on lvl 40-45 you have to low HP to spam EK with blood magic gem but you need mana for sustain your auras. Can you give us some advices how you leveled this :)? It's INSANE imo. ATM I only have this But i am 53 and my EK dps is 700. EK, for my expierence is not strong at lower levels and it gets like 40% or so stronger every level. I feel I might need int more in the future. I'm thinking to get the HP nodes with chaos res first, then get Golem's Blood. After that, I would get the Faith and Steel. Let me know if this is correct.
