occasionally my attacks stop responding.

Using FP and happened to me as well. It's only happens often enough to be an issue in tight enclosed areas (I can't recall it happening in wide open areas at all actually). I've got it bound to 'W' instead of mouse though.
This has happened to me while using spark + fork. It only happens with rare monsters who are near walls/doors.

I've noticed this too
FP as well.

It has also happened in an open area, maybe Bog map? However, there may have been a tree there or something. Most recent occurrence occuree while in bog or reef. Luckily teammate guarded me for about 5-7 seconds until I was able to move again.
I think the complete inability to move is another issue though. I have had that happen once or twice myself. Last time on a coves map.

This bug here just doesn't let you cast a spell close to walls or doors that are directly targeting enemies. It does seem trees can cause this effect too though, yeah.
happening to me with ice spear all the time, also the bug where i cast the spears but they arent visible, and all of this is happening in speces without any obstacles or too close to the walls, albeit mostly in closed spaces like pyramid...

I am still not completely sure when it happens and whether its a bug or me being dumb.

What seems to happen is.. I am owning stuff with my witch spells then suddenly (i think) I try to target an enemy who is next to a structure/tree or something. My right click goes from my freezing pulse to move command (I think..) I usually right click like 5 times times then I run a bit away then right click again and freezing pulse works. At first I thought my freezing pulse just wasn't damaging because of how enemies near objects seem pretty difficult to actually damage (which is another annoying thing) but now I know my freezing pulse is not even coming out. No mana goes down or anything..

It is hard to tell whether I am encountering a bug because whenever this seems to happen I instantly move away before I can be 100% sure. It has happened around 10 times now though.. and each time I tried to use my spell multiple times before moving away.

In the ladder race I just played it would go like this.. I am holding down "W" near some trees for Ice nova to own everything then eventually all that is left is some guy in between 2 trees that I am up against. I hold right click to own him with freezing pulse but nothing happens. Then I spam right click and nothing happens (or maybe my char tries to run towards the spot I am right clicking).. then I run away and freezing pulse from a new spot and it works. The last time I encountered this I actually ran away but then came back to the exact spot I was originally and my freezing pulse was able to damage from there now.

I am not sure whether my guy moves with the right click instead of freezing pulse or not because I am usually too focused on killing monsters before I realize what happened.

Anyway just wanted to report this in case it is a bug or maybe I am just retarded :/

This is a topic I made about the problem in beta feedback.. I forgot about the bug report section lol..

Same here, Cold CI Witch with Freezing Pulse on on right mouse button. Has never happened before 0.9.13 patch (played ~200 h before that). Seems to happen more often in indoor areas like Church Dungeon and Vaal Ruins.
A sword he brought, his foes to maim and rend,
from places dark behind forbidden doors,
But night by night he woke with frighten'd roars
from darkest dreams, too strange to comprehend.

Yes happening to my fire trap more often than before, click trap, animation, no trap, repeat until trap appears makes for a more dangerous game lol
Would it be possible to take screenshots of the exact moment when it happens, showing the monster you're targeting and the way in which you're targeting. Circling where you mouse is on the screen would help!
