Not something you should be having problems on, attaching a screenshot can help.

The lower currencies are more common than the higher tiers. Usually if you identify and sell every yellow (rare) item you don't use to the NPC vendors and pick up every currency drop you come by, you will have enough currency by the end of the story (merciless act 3, around level 65) to buy cheap gear for mapping (something like endgame dungeons).

The pointers should be in the guide already.

Forging is a term that could refer to a lot of things, since it is not something commonly used I have no clue what you could be referring to!

Just read the leagues section on the guide.
so i have to identify stuff first? btw, thanks a lot for your reply. I have been trying not to use my health flask at all cause i dont know how to get more. do they refill automatically? i heard that if you die you loose everything and have to start over, is this true? thanks again for your help man.
Identify Rare (yellow) and Unique (orange) items.

You gain 1 'charge' for all your flasks when you kill a white monster. Stronger monsters grant more charges, but I forget the exact values. Basically, smash those flasks down whenever you need them, they're not going anywhere :)

The only time you will lose ~everything when you die, is when you enter a 'Cutthroat' league. These are shortform temporary leagues (and aren't run all the time), the longform leagues and Standard do not incur a loss of items whatsoever.

Generally before level 50 none of the rare (yellow) drops are worth selling due to the fact that the item rolls are higher at higher levels, so it is probably safe to sell anything you are not using. Most uniques are also very common and low level so they are usually safe to sell too.

For something you feel could be good, you can search for similar items on http://poe.trade/ with "buyout only" checked to get an estimate on how much your item is actually worth. It is easy to reverse search uniques this way specifically.
