Steam trading cards
I want a PoE background or something for my steam profile, but the cards are like $5 each.

I couldn't find any transaction option for PoE via Steam...
I'd also love to collect PoE cards... But it would be also great to see more achievements, I f***ing love to collect stuff! :D |

You mean I need to spend MORE money on PoE to get my trading cards? Path of Exile is P2W.

" Link you account to Steam, use the Steam client with said account, use the in-game store to buy tokens (m key), transactions done that way use the Steam Wallet and give you 1 card drop per $9 spent. EDIT: And yeah, cards are going to be pretty expensive right now, but they should drop to the usual 0.10 - 0.20 in no time, especially considering how popular PoE is on Steam. " Ah, thanks. I didn't know the ingame store is being linked to steam as well. $9 per drop, phew... I guess my guild will get a guild stash after all :D |

" You'd think my diamond supporter status would count. I have no use for further coins! "Danger is like jello, there's always room for more."

" Yeah, this isn't the first F2P game that has the same "issue" (as in goes to Steam, offers trading cards, but cannot honor purchases made out of Steam before integration) and as far as I know unfortunately Steam only retroactively honors purchases that were made via the Steam Wallet in the first place since the cards are a Steam service. PoE didn't have any form of Steam integration before launch, so as far as I know there is no chance for past packs to be honored. |

i feel sorry for the diamond supporters who play via steam :-/

On the other hand, Supporters did get early access to Path of Exile, right?
But I must agree that $9 per card is a lot of money. I'd like to know who set that as a standard and if it will change? I mean, there are 13 cards in the set, that's(holds fingers out...) $117. Like I said, a lot of money. Custom built Ryzen 7 5700G, Radeon 6600 8gb, 16GB RAM, Win 10 64 bit

" The game was in open bete when the second set of packs sold, so nobody got such privileges. 9$ is set by steam and it is like that for some time (also for other f2p games) so I don't think it will change in the near-future. No longer a forum dweller, please use PM for contact purposes.
