Cast when Damage Taken

bug?

I tried using blood rage linked to CwDT (it has ~60% damage effectiveness) so I would assume blood rage 'damage' would decrease by 60%... well it surely did not looked like it did. Is this intentional? if so why?
If I link lvl 1 immortal call to lvl 20 increased duration and both on CwDT lvl 2, will increased duration lvl 20 work on lvl 1 immortal call when triggered?

dmg from blood rage is degen, not direct dmg so it's not decreased.

yes but the new changes do DoTs seems to treat it like one... so that's why my confusion...

it's not damage over time, it's constant degen.

"Degen" isn't actually a mechanic in Path of Exile; it's called Damage over Time.

The Damage penalty should apply far as I can tell.

I'm curious if the Damage penalty works with Righteous Fire. RF's description says you and enemies Burn, and Burn is simply Fire Damage over Time. Blood Rage actually describes it as Life Loss, which is a separate mechanic from Damage (that's why Caustic Flasks bypass ES and don't trigger Cast when Damage Taken; they inflict Life Loss). It would explain why the Damage penalty doesn't work, but feels a little farfetched.

Of course it will work.
Support gems do nothing with other supports, and CWDT is no exception. Description states that there are limit on level SUPPORTED skills can have, but Increased Duration is not supported by CWDT in any way (supports cant be supported), so no revel restiction will apply there.

thanks. I suspected as much but I kinda wanted confirmation because immortal call is damn short on low level that i couldn't tell the difference with/without the support (by eye).
