Isn't this BETA?

Most major patches are deployed to Alpha realm first so we can try to catch those last few obvious bugs/problems.

Alpha is usually 1 to 2 weeks pre-beta. Therefore alpha-deployment is a fine measure of the readyness of the patch! If it gets delayed on alpha it is usually because of some major issues or severe bugs, that we as beta-players really dont want to face!
I appear to be living in "Romance Standard Time". That has to be good! :)

Stuff still missing:

* act3
* pvp
* trading
* a pile of small stuff

ETA november: pvp

ETA december: act3 + open beta

so when is the other stuff comming?

As much as I like PoE I am a bit concerned regarding lack of perceived progress regarding trading. There will have to be something for OB.

Also I think there are quite a few problems with first character and progression. First-time players in OB might have a lot of problems (and whining shitstorm).

A few interesting ideas I managed to summon:
* randomize skill rewards to a certain extent
* lightning skills sorely missing and a bit of skill variation in a lot of areas
* massive skill-mana dependancy
* skilltree has A LOT of redundant nodes
* middle of skill tree is a disgrace, most of the stuff useless

I'm fairly sure the trade interface will be implemented by open beta as it is a core game system.

Randomising skill rewards is a bad idea for first time players, as it is best to encourage them to play with strong on-class skills for their first play through.

I don't see how mana is a problem, as it has several solutions. You can attach a Mana Leech support gem, get gear or passives that increase regeneration, leech, or max mana, go Blood Magic, or be frugal with leveling gems and attaching supports to use less mana overall.

I don't understand your criticism of the skill tree either. Just because you don't use nodes for your build doesn't mean others don't find them useful. And the centre is perhaps the most useful for anyone building hybrids, with many options for attributes, life, elemental damage, attack and cast speed etc attainable without having to go into another class starting area.
