Pvp, how?

Hi, me and my friend want to start PoE, but, how can we do pvp?
Wich league i have to choose to do pvp?
How does pvp work?

(i mean open pvp, not battleground, etc).

What is this?

The "Open PVP" in POE is called Cutthroat. So far it has only been available via very short (1-2 hour) special events, but GGG is also planning to eventually make it a permanent league. That probably won't happen for a while still, though.

In the meantime you can only PVP by joining the PVP queues in the Act 2 camp in either Normal or Merciless difficulty. This style of PVP is going to get a lot more support in the near future (i.e. way sooner than Cutthroat).

How does it work this pvp in the act 2? Wich level i need?
How can i see when is the next pvp event?

Talk to the buff dude in act II (town) normal for pvp, levels up to 28. When in Merciless mode, doing the same will enter you into all level pvp
hopefully tthe ggg bros are overhauling pvp entirely when " beta " ends in roughly 15 days. I wouldn't bother till then.

Cut throat events are ran as races, i don't follow the race scene at all but you should be able to find something relevant -> http://www.pathofexile.com/seasons

Bah, i don't think to play without any open pvp mode. :\

open pvp would be nice

it would allow emergent community enforced gametypes i.e. under lvl50 dueling, 6 player FFA, etc.
