Ohe jha ahejk *picks up jaw from the floor* I just watched the Gamespot video - total loss for words after all the awesome stuff I've seen. And I'm already very much in love with the Library/Archives areas. The only thing I probably wouldn't have implemented are those animated armour minions, I think they are a bit too cartoonish (I do appreciate putting e.g. white items to more use but would probably have preferred mercenaries for that) but otherwise - absolutely bloody amazing. :-D

Wow, you guys certainly never cease to surprise and amaze! I just upgraded to the Exalted Pack to show my appreciation for your hard work guys :) I did not forsee some of these things coming, but who could seriously expect something like the Guardian? A certainly very clever and innovative way to recycle otherwise useless items.
I really love the look and feel of the new areas, I'm digging the amount of detail you've put everywhere. I must say I did not anticipate the Act3X expansion consisting of many new areas and so much new content. My hunch was that it might just be four floors on the Sceptre of God and then Dominus... boy was I wrong :) I'm also pretty overwhelmed with the new possibilities introduced by the new gems because I hadn't even fully explored the existing ones yet and now there's even more. But even more options can't be bad for the long-term motivation, right? :) The new PvP sounds very interesting too. Organizing Capture-the-Flag PvP into a leagues with fixed clans/guilds and maybe even tournaments could open a whole new dimension to Path of Exile. It's like a completely different game altogether. I'm getting a feeling Path of Exile is becoming more and more a sandbox game of whatever and however you want to play. It will be interesting to see how this develops. |
