nope, sry will rant when they show off something that destroys a ton of builds and significantly cuts down build diversity, esp when it destroys all the builds I currently play a lot.

Why destroy existing builds to this extent? madness. I have yet to see Chris say the tree will be different, if it is then good, I hope they fix the stuff Im ranting about. I dont rant lightly, this is worth ranting about, its absolutely horrid.

This looks so great, I'm very excited for it all!

For people who don't want to watch the video, some new things:

New Passive Keystone: Mana Shield - When hit, 30% of damage taken is taken from mana before life.

New challenge leagues:

Domination - Softcore, a new thing called 'shrines' appear in areas, a large amount of enemies spawn around them and they act similar to totems (doing things like spamming frost nova or providing a good buff), but touching the shrine yourself lets you steal its ability - for example if you touch the frost nova one you will have frost novas constantly emanating from your character.

Nemesis - Hardcore, all rare monsters get an extra affix with special text that is pulled from a new 'nemesis' table of affixes. Examples of these affixes include corpse explode on death, fire raining constantly around the enemy, and resurrect as spectre on death.

wow, i know gamespot seriously went to shit lately, but the "interviewer" (hard to call him that, really) was absolutely horrible.


sotn was awesome, am glad to see the heaven/rune sword influence this. can't wait to throw a few melee weapons...

Especially the Video ist great, always like seeing/hearing Chris talking about some new Stuff ... and it surely is some great new Stuff :)

I actually encountered archivist monsters when doing Maelstrom of Chaos 2 days ago. They seemed new to me but I thought I messed something up. Pity that I didn't encounter shrines or new gems ;)

I don't know but if the extra affix on rares is the only thing that Nemesis gonna offer... sounds pretty lame...

New PVP modes sound great though.
