Patch 0.9.12qq includes a Legacy Migration

Oh, Goodie. Just before i was starting to craft a 6L eva chest. Guess i can go vendor/give my 29 tabs of rares and stuff to people and stop playing till tuesday.

Maybe i'll try some random other character other than my beloved Duelist for the remainder of closed beta.

Keep it up GGG, #1 rated game developer for me right now.

It's time for a staff shadow melee!

That stated, it's been a long run. I'm happy to have known a whole bunch of great people to play with. Map based Endgame has brought me back to the game in July - since then lvl'd to be first duelist in the league (till some ppl decided to do so as well ^^ and map drops decreased drastically). Got myself decent mf as a dual wield melee (never understanding the complaints about being underpowered till the tooltip was updated and I found out that I actually do 6k dps with full mf gear 166/258 on). Got into trading, which was the most fun thing to do ever. Knowing the value of items and knowing the price you can get for them is highly rewarding (as it is beneficial to your wealth...). Races still are great, new economies are great, and fresh starts are great.

There's room for improvement on both sides without doubt: Players are accepting "market values" too easily and you barely find real "hagglers" when trading - because the economy gets so huge new players don't grasp it easily. Don't always accept the things you hear guys, question them - not only trading values.
Maps can be incredibly versatile as endgame content - yet they are not (not yet). In the estimated 350+ maps I've been in, I encountered around 6 to 8 really epic battles - with combinations of 3 rares, hordes of monsters and a boss - where it actually does matter (!) which mob you kill first and who does the dmg/tanking (hint: dmg reflect).

It's been a long way and it will still be a long way to the release. There are wonderful ideas out there about endgame, about pvp and partyplay – and we discuss them in the forum. I'd say "let's test!". Be more experimental with your leagues and the playgrounds GGG but also with your content, even if it turns out to be a failure! Since now we have the chance to "make a game" and not simply "play a game".

Nice, just yesterday I had this thought that endgame bores me yet again. Easy enough to start a new build but with all that junk stored in my stash it wasn't fun anymore to crosscheck all those items at every level up. Time to start this generic frost witch I always wanted to try out.

well, i get to empty stash and deleat all my chacters again, gotta love the way chris and GGG gang work.

i'm a full out gamer who wants to have fun and found it in this game, being a beta tester is fun, helping ggg out to find glich's/bugs is fun, makeing friends is fun, so to those who are wineing and crying becouse of patch, suck it up, it has and needs to be done, me i like a reason to deleat chacters to restart over.

Any way you can log in from home Chris and do the migration, well...now? Can't wait until Tuesday..!:)

for egzample

1000 kills - 1 extra passive
5000 kills - 1 passive
10000 kills - 2
50000 kills 3
100000 4
and 500,000 kills 5 extra passives

giving you total of extra 17sh or more to be adjusted passives

that will strongly encourage ppl to pvp a lot more :D

That would only encourage kill trading between alt accounts.
