What's happening when Anarchy/Onslaught leagues end?

^ Beta != launch. Launch, that would be unacceptable.

just make koams added after final health count and multipliers, then increase total amount added as desired. Upwards of 15,000 health is OP no matter how you try to defend it.

A wholeeeeee 2 weeks of down time! I don't think I'll find the courage to play standard for that long.

Leagues are what keep me in the game 8)

Considering it's "Release":

Why not make all the nerfs you feel are necessary to all items (pre owned and future found)?
Just do it! Nerf whatever you want, remove whatever you want. Make PoE what you at GGG think it should be. If you want to add or re-add things later, go for it.

Many ppl don't like "legacy" items very much so get rid of them...all of them, by changing all existing items.

Ppl will get over it, and those that don't...well hard to believe they'd let that stop them from enjoying PoE... but to each their own I suppose

Standard league still matters. It still represents Path of Exile so flaws should still be fixed.

If standard was meant to represent the true PoE experience, Anarchy would not be the default league.

That's not the point. You cannot penalize the guy who spent hundreds of hours farming to pay his Kaom and nerf it at the end... That's why there will be legacy uniques. That's not like you had the possibility to buy Kaom for few chaos... Paying 30 exalts is quite a big investment for 97 % of the players.

And what if the item in its legacy form breaks some new, beneficial game mechanics? They aren't supposed to abandon implementing it just because of one item, right?

And it's not like it will be removed altogether, it will just be toned down in regards to new game conditions. It's not really fun it makes you a god either.

I say do it properly or not at all.

I really hope the new leagues will have Ironman element or that there are more than just 2 new leagues. Otherwise - as a soloplayer - I dont see any point in going to compete in new league again.

When it comes to new 4-month leagues, i think they are too long. We discuessed this in Etup's stream chat and we all agreed 4-month is 1-2 months too long. I would assume GGG has seen this in serious drop of amount of players who log for the present 4month's at the moment. You should do a daily news update wheres there an questionnaire about the like's and dislike's in leagues and then maybe implement some of those results.

Otherwise - I love it that GGG keeps us players informed so well. Chris has definetely taken alot of his time off from other projects to keep his daily news update alive. Thank you Chris for this.

There is no one "true" PoE experience. Every league IS Path of Exile. Standard is the most obvious league to need all fixes because its always around and many players do not want to start over to play a new league. Leaving flaws in just to not hurt peoples feelings is ridiculous. I hope they aren't refusing to nerf OP builds for the same reason.

Not everyone grinded the game to get a Kaoms, but thats besides the point. This game has always been undergoing changes and the devs can't shy away from fixes just because they might make someone mad. If Kaoms was nerfed it would still be a good item, the only reason it would be getting a change is because the devs feel its over powered and imbalanced. OP builds have to be nerfed as well and the devs can't just leave the builds alone because someones going to be upset.
