-just want to play-
really smash the posts together and delete the ones before it really cool. This game isn't F2P and isn't going to be open beta. The lottery for beta is BS and from 2011-early 2012 and if your lucky in july. Great looking game but a scam for beta keys

It's ok. The lottery is a bit "weird" yes, but an easy system for the developers. You could have done like me, I signed up last year, did not get a beta key, but I found a nice E-mail dropped in my inbox, from Grinding Gear Games! It said they were going to have a Public stress test weekend in Path of Exile! An excellent way to try the game out! I played a few hours and liked the game, and when the donation was possible I got my beta-key for 10 American dollars.
Since then they have had many more public stress test weekends, for Your gaming pleasure!
Alas, you have not utilized them, and supposedly not even visited the website since march 2011... GG, check mate and game, set and match.

-------
Edit: Aha, I understand now, you made your account like, today and is sad because people from 2011 are getting keys, even though they haven't been visiting.
I'm not sure how you would design the beta-invitation. And I'm not sure what you expect from the gaming-industry, but getting in a closed beta isn't something you can just "expect" to do. One thing that's for certain is that companies will never let the people screaming the most get beta-access, most often it's some kind of arbitrary selection. (Would you rather want their selection grounded on a CV, personal letter and an interview, like for work? I mean come on.)
I'm not sure what your problem is.

On topic :)
Cool update as always, both the DVD and CD looks great!

but i want to try it before i buy it for 3 others

there will be a another public weekend before open beta for sure.

on the other hand i can tell you in advance that the game is worth spamming your parents for the 10 bucks. i'm myself was so fascinated by that game after getting hoked up by the trailer that after getting chosen by the invite timer on this account i spent 0.1k bucks on another playing account.

i always was suspicious of online gaming and the persuations of group play as i know my weakness for addictional things but this game has found the balance for avoiding all these negative impacts. i would easily allow my children play it (my nephew was fascinated already) as there sadly isn't much gore in it as advertised.

on a related note, it was said that you can spend points more gore later on and i hope this is coming soon after ob, isn't it chris?

i hope so. My friends and I unanimously agree the "more gore" option is the first thing we are buying. I want my kiwi to feast on the blood of my enemies. muhahahahaha

I'm soooooo curious now!!!
