I don't have any obsession with finding items i can't use in the game. But if i did, i would try and get it from coward's trial as i said before, because all your vague suggestions aren't logical. If you wanted people to find more fishing rods, you would explain how you got yours in a logical manner, since there is no indication in game of how to find one.
