Before And After Skin Transfers (Main Character)

A character whose skins I picked without even really having a build for it. Check the linked items to see the additional micros.





I'll probably end up using this skin set with a Mjolner build (in fact my Mjolner has another alt Brightbeak skinned onto it). Sadly that means no Forcefield Discipline. :(

My Duelist archer


- Apprentice set body armor
- Vampiric set boots and gloves
- hunter hood skin on helm
- Storm Cloud skin on bow

The before (no pics) is just a Lioneye's, Lightning Coil, Alpha's and some rares.




Comments: A red/black/gold theme that rose up around the pairing of the normal art Three Dragons and the alt art Thousand Ribbons. The basic idea is red, black and gold.

Originally it was just those two items with the back attachment and the alt art storm cloud. I'll say here that under the storm cloud skin is a Lioneye's, and honestly that probably goes much better with the theme, but alt storm cloud is my favorite bow of all time and I decided to keep it.

Anyway, there were no footprints or wings on my helmet, the boots were ugly EV/ES hybrid boots and the bow had an ivory effect (goes better with the bow in general, but fits the theme of this set less). Today I decided to splurge and buy the wings (I usually only buy on sale)... And the footprints... And a 10 pack of skins... At least the radiant weapon effect I got when it was on sale yesterday. Oh well. The set as a whole looks better now and I think the bow clashes less.

Most people know Lori's Lantern causes your hands to glow when worn or skinned. What most people don't know is that when equipped in the left slot and used with a bow, Lori's Lantern's glow appears instead on the arrow. A similar thing happens with 2h melee weapons, but it in no way looks as cool (it just shows up midway down the weapon). I really think this effect matches well with the radiant weapon and footprints.

I'm probably happier with this set than I've been with any other. The only improvement I could possibly make is to pull the storm cloud skin off of my Lioneye's but that's not gonna happen.

i know the chest is belly of the beast. other than that, you can use these threads to look up the skins for uniques and regular items.

i'm kinda torn between two looks right now. i'm a fire trapper, so ashrend is a natural choice for RP and such, but bronn's looks so good with the bandana i got with some points i had left over.

I'm back again, with another character, this time with a purple and gold look. If you're looking for a before pic, well, I never take them so tough luck. :P

Gloves: Stealth Gloves (GGG please, we need some more diverse glove skins. Thunderfist 3D art would look amazing here!)
Boots: Alternate Art Shavronne's Pace + Radiant Footprints
