Razer Footprints Promotion
I like this promotion.

is that our enemies are human beings like us. They can only be our enemies in relative terms." |

Not a fan of razer but if this is making GGG money for this little thing then I'm all for it.
I highly doubt the average user will use these for more than a month. |

Great, You're always full of cool ideas GGGuys!

To be absolutely objective, i am supporting GGG in creating useful partnerships with other companies. With Razer i think it might bring more players to the game, since Razer is very well known company in PC gaming industry.
Making more money to bring more stuff into the game? I say go for it, as long as you are not compromising your principles and won't force this advertising in some very unappealing way. Graphical effect? I would probably like Shield skin change instead footprints as goes for Razer logo. This spot was maybe saved for other company :) Nvidia perhaps. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

This game sucks.

I personally prefer Roccat (Isku and Kone+ ftw). But, that being said, Congrats to GGG on this partnership. Games be expensive to make, yo.
p.s. I agree with Altex above. The Razer logo would look really nice as a shield skin. Last edited by Necropasia#2919 on Aug 30, 2013, 1:38:01 PM

" and we cant have damage numbers because they also somehow dont fit (sadly this makes understanding this game so much more difficult for many people so albeit templar garments are tragic i think lack of these number has a detrimental impact on gameplay) |

" Fair point, remember all the 'internal debates' about adding health bars as well? |

To all the "I'm not going to donate anymore because of this WAH" people: Jesus grow up.
If this one decision is enough to make you that upset (especially folks that have given a lot of money, e.g. Diamond Supporters) that you rethink all the things you liked that made you donate in the first place, I feel bad for whoever you date/marry/etc. No entity - be it company, individual, government, etc. - will ever make decisions you 100% agree with. One decision you don't like should not overwhelm all the ones you do. To all the "OMG SLIPPERY SLOPE GGG SELLOUT" people: Jesus shut up. Am I the only one (besides someone like 5 posts above this) that takes Chris at his word when he says they've turned down partnership offers because they didn't think they would fit in well? I personally think the color scheme of the footprints fits in with PoE just fine. Certainly more than some of the other microtransactions (almost all of the pets). Also, one decision does not call for running around screaming the sky is falling. As should be obvious by now, I think this is fine. I agree that keeping product placement out of the game is a great goal, and I see the potential for concern. However, there are definitely much better ways to express that concern than many of the posts over the previous 25 or so pages. I donated to this game because not only do I like the game, but I really believe in how GGG has developed the game and I appreciate the way talk to the community and respond to feedback. This decision has not changed that for me. I think most people need to sit back and really reflect on their motivations before going forward. Support a free Hong Kong.

I don't have a problem with the idea but I'm disappointed that they are probably the most noticeable footprint effect in the game (if not the most noticeable effect overall) and seem to stand out way more than the others. Razer is probably deliriously happy about this.
I'm not so happy. Again, don't mind this sponsorship but do they have to stand out quite so much? The effect is pretty jarring, especially when half a town are displaying it. |
