Actually, an alternative character skin is probably the fixer.

I have no doubt people would buy those MTX's. I know I would buy one just for my templar.

Although the overall look is a bit disappointing with the Templar class (and has caused my friends to stay away from PoE..the babies) who can say no to a sword and board class in a hardcore ARPG though? Love it

I agree though, Templar has to be my most underplayed class. Now that I think about it, I might just start a templar lol. I have to say, I like his dialogue. I cannot STAND the dialogue of the scion, she is SOOOOOO annoying. Witch RULES. Templar might be second for epic-ness :)
