open the catalyst control center and change the view to basic.

then click on "start" within the ccc (its a green arrow) -> <Games> click game performance -> then mipmap -> Chamge to High Quality.

This should work for you. or not.. like for me ;)

i'm having a crossfire setup with a HD5850 and HD5830 and the mipmap thingy does nothing..

Game looks great .. HUD/UI is crappy :/

Sorry for posting in such an old thread, but I have the exact same problem and did not see a point to start a new one.

On day randomly the UI just became blurred. I Googeled for a solution and found several threads about this topic in PoE forum.

Some computer specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series

I updated my graphics card drivers.
Then set mipmapping in Catalyst Control Center to high quality.
Just in case restarted computer and launcher PoE.
The UI is still so blurry that the game is unplayable for me.

After that I tried out tuning some other 3D related settings. Switched everything to highest quality possible. Downloaded some more AMD tools, that enable fine tuning per application etc. And no results. No setting that I have tried fixes this issue for me.

If anyone has any more tips, what could I try, I would be most thankful. At the moment the game is simply not playable for me.

Don't necro threads, it's by far easier and cleaner to make your own.
As for the solution, mipmap settings in nvidia or texture filtering in AMD/ATI set them to high.

What is the point of making a million threads about the same topic?
I would have to take my own screenshots, upload them and write a story around them that has been already told several times.

If you would have taken the time reading through my post, you would have noticed that I pointed out, that I have tried turning mimap settings to highest possible quality.

Truth be told, I have tried setting them to whatever option possible and restarting the game, but the blurriness will not go away.

Because this thread could be old enough that the problem that was had back then is not the same problem as now and for support old threads that are bumped may not be looked at.

Point in case the problem you have is different from the OP and just about every other thread with blurry UI because trying the fix didn't work for you.

God bless you for this! I would've never known how to fix this. I'm personally super glad that this thread was brought back to life!!
Yeah known problem indeed, had this issue too initially when I first installed PoE.

Catalyst minimap settings is overruling the game.

Thanks man! It worked great for me on my good ol' Radeon 5650. For us with now shitty cards we tend to set parameters to lowest performance.

performance quality.
Radeon 7790 HD - mipmap was set as high performance in RadeonPro - changed to performance. It looks back to normal. I use RadeonPro to manage framerates.
