A userscript for enhanced forum experience

I actually use an updated version of the script, remembered that didn't updated the thread. Now I feel bad, should do it later this week.

This thread reminds me of reddit :), promote group mentality and block single users from forming opinions.

No offense, but this is what this program will do eventually.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Spoiler
Thanks [removed by admin], just because of your endless non-quality posts, I decided to write a userscript that will filter post/threads by username, so your posts will become non-existent for me. Finally I'll have better forum experience :) :)

Thank you you made this forum much better place now i can trust to this community again
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!

On reddit by downvoting you prevent whole community to see one's post. This script is only for personal use, doesn't affect anything community-wise.

Script is not that different than in-game ignore list but I guess everytime someone finds a thing to dislike, so you're welcomed to not use it.

Agreed, but you are making it publicly available. If it was for personal use it would not effect the community, by making it public it will.

I have no real problem with it, it's just an observation i made.

Even the most bad-ass troll will make a sensible post once in a while. Sometimes without even realizing it. You are effectively promoting to not read anything they write, be it good or bad for the future of this game/community.

Creating a sort of "bubble" for users.

Like you say yourself, if it was for personal use i would agree with your vision.

No offense intended ignarsoll, i am fairly certain it helps keep a clean forum experience. I am just not sure it is your duty to provide this, rather then the people running the show.

Gl & hf with your program sir.

Spoiler
i totally love your unique thread btw :D every new patch is a new adventure in that thread :)

You pretty much lost his point, dude.

If you downvote a reddit post, every user will cease to see the post.
If you use this userscript here, only you will cease to see the post.

No one not using the system is affected by it directly.
Same can not be said about the reddit voting system.

GGG expect us, the users and their own team, to take up with much shit in this forum. I would also love them to implement basic modern forum features like this but my only guess is that the employee doing the web-development stuff shares much more important positions.

Bump. I forgot to use this script appropriately for my own minds sake. :D

Filtered accounts are visible while creating a reply.
Was this an issue before?

Yes, it was always the case but I can possibly look into that.

I'm ashamed of myself.

Maybe you should reconsider accepting donations.

It might fuel you with some motivation and free coffee! :D
