Upcoming 0.11.5 microtransaction effect - Infernal Anger Aura

Of course. Without players, no hype and less multiplayer options.

However, I must say this aura discussion seems a bit too negative. If it is important to you how certain game elements look - purchase the microtransactions YOU THINK LOOK GOOD and ARE WORTH IT. If you are satisfied with current aura design - stick with it.

I'm new in open beta, so maybe I missed something cool, but still.. Is this big enough an issue to write loads and loads of posts about it? Just show with your wallet what you like and don't like. It's the best way by far to show a company what you want (even though it seems GGG listens to their fan base more than other companies).
at least the old argument about nerfing the old aura designs due to buffing performance seems to be very fishy now.
i understand that ggg needs the microtransactions to continue the good work for this game and lots of us players like to support them but imho this is a step into the wrong direction.
pls don`t start to screw it up, ggg!

Please make it so that we can use this new mtx aura with any aura. I'm a spell caster and I don't use Anger.
It effect... may looks better...
Harsh RNG, fair trade is dead, botting everywhere, oneshot mechanic -=RIP=-
I need to stop reading news thread replies, it's getting so frustrating reading the 20 same posts of people whining about something that has been addressed in the thread already. :(

Tons of people were asking for options. Aura mtxs are an option. I was one of the people who was upset about the old auras being replaced with what we have now, and I'm pretty content with this.

Doesn't look much like an Aura to me, looks more like a charge! Maybe if it was 3 small skulls connected with a binding line, but it doesn't seem to be encasing the subject as an Aura should. Anger Skull Charge? Other than that the Gfx look cool.

Load of crap, they made the game free. Players can add value besides money.

I wish it were a 'load of crap', but reality dictates otherwise. Most of us can support GGG with $30.00 for an Open Beta Supporter Pack.

When we buy one of those supporter packs, we make it possible for GGG to continue existing and to continue making this great game even better.

GGG gives us value. Let's reciprocate by giving them the means to continue giving us value. Just playing the game and participating on the forums is great, but it does not pay the bills.

Buying a supporter pack does. :-)

This doesn't make sense. they toned down the aura's to increase performance, if you do not have issues with performance you now have the option to make them look prettier, if you team with people and they suffer issues because YOU CHOSE to make the auras look prettier, they can team with someone else.

I have spoken many times about GGG's failure to capitalise on MTXs and their respective windows of opportunity for sales. The time for being condescending is now, they keep making the same mistakes over & over & their budget for this game is now nowhere near it's potential.

The original aura change was bad PR, it came completely out the blue with little to no requests for it from the community, while other areas of the game caused the FPS problems few were mentioning. GGG made the aura patch seem like something the community had been begging for, but when a 49page thread immediately sprung up mostly full of negative feedback they pretty much ignored the requests to make the old auras optional. Even the art dept. quipped "yeah I pretty much ran out of ideas, lol". Sloppy.

Now apparently "due to popular request" we have an aura you can buy. Yeah cos that's what everyone was asking for right? BS. Noone was asking for aura mtxs, the only thing ppl wanted was the old ones back or an option. So excuse me for not being overjoyed.

When it comes to MTXs in general GGG have gone about it in all the wrong ways IMO. Launch was a massive window of opportunity that was wasted due to GGG not making skins for popular skills, a problem that still persists to this day. Since then they have realeased lackluster, rushed, unpopular MTXs and then wonder why their sales didn't do too well. When the guy who made the god awful dance animations was working on them he should have turned to Chris & said "do you not think it is more important for us to make skins for the popular parts of the game? " Apparently he didn't & went on to make some of the worst animations I have ever seen in a game & then expected ppl to buy them. The new skull was apparently outsourced and fiddled with after by GGG because it sucked, well apparently you can't polish a turd, it still looks like crap.

People often want to give GGG unlimited slack because they are a small indie company with limited resources but when it comes to making money & marketing their game GGG don't help themselves. You can commend them for not being money hungry at all costs but they are too far at the other end of the spectrum.

Daily deals was about the only good idea GGG had when it comes to MTXs, but there is so much more they could do. Bundle deals, summer sales, competitions to win GGG points and a plethora of other things. Not to mention actually creating quality, and popular skins.

It's frustrating watching the sales for this game be a fraction of what they could be & then hearing that "we don't have enough resources to do that kind of thing".

You do not have any information on their sales, so you are not in any position to make any of these claims. Your opinion of the MTX released thus far is all well and good, but is nothing more than that.

The aura change was the result of MANY complaints about frame rates plummeting when to many people were having to many auras and spamming to many skills. So they toned down the auras.

The dance animations were requested in CB as were other 'social' MTX's.

Graphic alternative effects could be fun.

I'm looking forward to the new gem. Something that helps agains chaos maybe? Or something for spellcasters?
Or something that make all your minions being only one powerful minion? Or maybe a uberdamage thing but with long time counter?

Also looking forward to more uniques. May them be GG GGG
