Final 0.11.4 Deployment Timeline

Better no patch than no game.
Take your time guys. Make it solid, some hours is not worth-mentioning. We appreciate your work and that you always inform us in advance.
Better safe than sorry :)
This is fine, rather wait than have it crashing or some shit.

this: "and will reduce the filesize of the game assets by an average of 40%" is effin GG GGG.

keep it up :)

Any other developer would have just said "Patch delayed, screw you guys".

Although I won't deny that I'm quite disappointed that I don't get to play around with Reave today, it's totally understandable considering the size of the patch.

I have to say it again: it's truly amazing that you accomplished such a massive optimization :D.

For I seriously believe that this patch will solve the RAM issues/crashes I've had and not to mention massive loading times.
Chris,

Do you know if this patch might also fix the XFI crashing issues? I suspect they are caused by some memory issues with the way the game stores the sound files during "processing". Reducing the game size, and fixing the 32bit problems, I wonder if this will be an added bonus (not necessarily intended fix).

I'll test it out -- reducing the games assets size (can't wait to see how large the game .exe is reduced by) might well solve the problem.

When it is ready is always the best policy! :-)
