I can see why you're having mana problems, you forgot to spec the mana leech node down at the bottom near the Primal Force Cluster. =]

Second thing is your not using a diamond flask. Dump Atziri's for a diamond flask.

Your dagger needs a crit roll on it. Do T1 lighting, T1-2 attack speed, T1-2 crit roll then ele or multiplier if you can

Your jewels are half of your problem. You don't have life or resists on half of them.


You're playing in standard and stuff is pretty expensive there. You can easily make improvements in about a hour but I'm not sure how much it would cost.

Been testing some changes to the build in std - working on spawning Uber Elder and then I'll give him a shot xD. I've been testing out Loreweave as well and I must say this chest is really nice. I need to add it to the guide xD.

With Loreweave I'm definitely noticing more tankiness vs. spells. Especially on fights like Elder and T15 Eradicator. To compensate for the lower HP and for the loss of res - I had to drop Choir of the Storm to get an amulet (which was more expensive than Choir) with some life, damage and cold res to balance out my resistances.

So net effect is I have the same HP as before (5k), higher max res, and more DPS.

One thing I definitely noticed without the Choir is a little lower mana ofc. For Elder I've unspecc'd from Avatar of Chase into Avatar of Veil, which decreased my DPS, but gives more survivability vs. spells.

Hi, I'm using this now:
I got lucky with my Loreweave only needing 3 divs to get 80% res, 54 life, 48% ele damage xD. Crit is alright at 38. Ideally for Elder and Shaper you want your uncapped cold res to be the lowest to get the defense buff for Wise Oak, but this was the best amy I could find for a decent price so my fire res is actually now the lowest uncapped.

Got my last fragment and got Uber Elder to spawn so I'll be trying him next weekend oO.

He has a nice tip on how to keep "attack in place" automatic for LS without having to hold Shift.

guggelhupf: Go to your Input Settings and search for "Attack in Place". Now take one of your numpad numbers for it. After that you need every time you log in on your char this:
hold down your number number you choosed and deactivate the numpad. Now you have always "Attack in Place" Enabled. ;)


I just tried it today and it is taking me some time to get used to but makes kiting much easier. I used it on Shaper fight after my last fragment and it made the whole run extremely easy. Also my damage is feeling noticeably higher than the last time I did Shaper, despite dropping down to Avatar of Veil, which is probably because of the Tombfist and Loreweave.


EDIT: Another thing I noticed for my new setup is that Blood Rage + Light Pen is giving me almost the same DPS as Damage on Full Life (7k lower). On my old setup and with Avatar of Chase - BR was substantially lower. I'll test it out and I hope the BR degen is not too much.

Hi,about the core links you suggest is multistrike.It deals 30% less attack damage on every hit which means there is penalty for shock.I don't know why and there are other decent gems to replace it.

Hi bud, pleaes feel free to use other gems if you prefer. MS is giving a massive APS bonus. Keep in mind if you are using PoB it is bugged for LS projectile damage because the attack bonus is not being factored by PoB for projectile DPS calc. But overall MS is a high damage gem. Also for T16-17 bosses you will not be able to get good shocks going, so this why I use Ele Focus because I am doing T16-17 bosses. For T14 bosses and below you should be able to get good shocks so feel free to take out MS and Ele Focus if you'd like.

PS - Witch Lightning Strike can get high shock ability with Elementalist on bosses like Shaper etc, and she does not have accuracy/dex disadvantage like the old days since Lycosidae was introduced. I've been theorycrafting a Witch LS build but her startign area is a pain for life build, may have to go ES xD.

- I took out my EV chest for Loreweave, to fix my res I had to take off Choir of the Storm and get a new amulet. Loreweave is a super nice chest and super easy to chrome, think I will make it the default for this build
- For Elder Guardians specifically: took out 1 damage flask (Atziri) and put in another life flask. - Took off Avatar of Chase and put in Avatar of Veil for more spell defense

So I took out Damage on Full Life and put in Light Pen, and then put in BR + Inc. Duration.
