Latency spikes issue

Hi, since i reinstalled my Windows and Path of exile due to upgrading to an SSD disk i have been having some serious latency spikes now and then, it comes in waves 1 min i can have a perfect ping no gameplay issues at all, then a few mins later the latency can start to spike like crazy ranging from 49 - 2000ms.

No problem at all, and from what i have tested it is only Path of Exile that gets these kind of packetslosses.

EDIT:

Have tried US Gateway for some time now, and that works as it should, no ms spikes at all, so it seems as the problem is on your side, something with the EU gateway isnt working as it should.

It appears as though some of the packets being sent out are experiencing large latency spikes and these packets are then being dropped by the softlayer network, causing packet loss. This would directly translate to the spikes you are experiencing in-game.

Could you please let me know what ISP you are using, and could you also please confirm whether or not this traceroute was made when you were experiencing the issues in-game?

Do you by any chance happen to be swedish nerdragez?

I am using Gavlenet as my ISP, its an Swedish ISP.

And yes i ran winMTR when i my lag spikes had started. If that was what you wanted to know Jason_GGG?

That's what i thought because of gavlenet, im swedish aswell so that might be a lead.

Actually having the same problem on US, just took me a little bit longer to experiencing them.

Actually i was sent to an EU instance, might be why i did experience problem even on US:)

Been playing on US gateway for several hours now, and i get no errors except for when im connecting to an EU instance, and i would really like to go back to EU gateway, since atm i wont dare to play on my HC characters with the latency i got on US.
