Does Point Blank passive and support gem stack?
There's a passive skill Point Blank which provides up to +50% dmg if the target is near by.
There's also a support gem that provides the same thing and also the unqiue bow called Chin Sol give "100% more bow damage at close range" Do these stuck? I have the passive already and I had as a reward the gem but I didn't take it because I wan't sure if it stuck :/ |

" Point Blank keystone passive doesn't stack with the support gem version. However, either of those do stack with Chin Sol bow's bonus. The passive/gem does a check on distance and adjusts damage based on that. The bow just checks "is the target close" if yes then 100% more damage, if no then no bonus damage. I don't know what the exact checkpoints for either are, but I know that if you're right next to the target (in melee range) you'll definitely get both bonuses. |

I see.
Thank you very much for the reply @Aplier I have another question, that's probably better to write here then to make new topic. I am using Lightning Arrow - the one that hit's a target and 2 next to it. And I've added it a support gem to split the arrow to 3 peaces. If I attack 9 mobs I guess I will hit them all -> I hit 3 with the arrows and 2 by each site of the hit targets on both sites, is that correct? What if I send 3 arrows to 3 targets next to each other? What will happen? Will the arrow hitting the left target also hit the middle and right one, will the arrow that hits middle target also hit the left and right one and so on with the right target? |

" You won't necessarily hit all 9 targets, but if they're clumped together then 9 hits will definitely take place. If they're in a perfect line 123456789 and your arrows hit 2, 5, and 8, then lightning would indeed hit 1 34 67 9. But the chances of your arrows being that precise and the enemies lined up for it is rare. It's more likely that some would just get hit several times and some not at all. " Yes, each arrow applies the lightning effect individually, so if each enemy gets hit by an arrow and they're all in range of lightning, then they'd all be getting hit by 1 arrow and 2 lightnings. |

Also one more thing - is there a way to increase the base critical strike?
Atm there's 5% in the weapon/bow. With 100% "crit chance" it goes to 10% With 300% it will go to 15% But if there's a way to increase the base crit chance from 5% to let's say 10% the 300% will make it not 15% but 30% which is a lot better. I hope you can understand what I mean. |

" Weapons have different base crit chances, usually between 5 and 9% depending on the weapon type and any +crit chance rolled on that weapon. At the moment, your base crit chance only comes from your weapon, there's no other passives or gear mods that will add to it (and I don't think this is gonna change any time in the future either, unless some Diamond supporter manages to sweet talk the devs into allowing it on a unique). Although you didn't ask, I just figured I'd add that spells also have base crit chances usually around 5%, and that base crit chance for each spell is on the gem's tooltip. From this topic -> http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/15223
" So when I find "Chain Belt" and it is yellow I should not identify it, safe it in stash and when I find second one if I sell them together I will get an Alchemy orb? Did I get it right or complete misunderstood. Because I have a second theory: I should identify the belt and if it goes to "Chain Belt of massive Strength" (it has +30 str) I have to find another one that is with same title / similar stats, because if I find a "Chain Beld of the greate wizzard" (it has +30 int) the recipe wont work. |

" You have to indetify them - rares get special names, for example: Unavailable Has the name "Iron Curtain" So you have to find another item with the name "Iron curtain" (and the names appear only if you identify them) and AFAIK it doesn't have to be the exact same item (only the name must be the same) Proud 5th duelist in the Jul 1 2012 Ladder Race and in the Nov 3 2012 Solo Turbo Race :D And even prouder 4th Templar in the Nov 10 Four-hour Party Hardcore Race :P Current OB success: top 20 Ranger in 105 Minute Turbo Solo (S4E9) Last edited by Sony_Black#0112 on Sep 6, 2012, 8:33:44 AM

@Sony_Black thx for the info.
Well I have a lot of rares now but neither of them has the same title. I am having a not-enough-stash issue atm. Any ideas how to fix that? |

" Buy more stash tabs from the store, or only hold onto one type of item (one handed weapons, chest armors, rings, amulets, belts, boots, gloves, helms, etc.). My suggestion is to only use boots gloves and helms, they drop pretty often and are pretty small. While rings or amulets are the smallest, they're also the rarest drops. The other option is to not hoard rares. I can't believe that GGG intended for everyone to keep all the rares they found, I'd imagine the recipe was suppose to be more of a "nice surprise" type of thing. But oh well, it is what it is. |
