patch install : GetTickCount64 and KERNEL32.dll

It's only happening with XP users which implies it's an issues with compatibility with something they change or added. The user base on XP is pretty small now a days and the systems is pretty old, so it wouldn't surprise me if GGG doesn't have a XP machine to test the game on. Also someone said this works fine on the Alpha, which implies its something they added later and might have not been tested.
same here on WIN XP SP3

I'm sure that GGG does test their patches and this is a bug that is happening to a small % of the populous it makes no sence to get mad they did say they will fix this problem and believe me they are much more proactive than any other team i have ever had the pleasure of playing their product.

p.s Have a good day.

The main problem with this and the reason several people are mad is the fact they looked up what causes Gettickcount64 errors to occur. If you did that you'd see the function is only on windows vista+. This in effect made this new patch prevent windows XP users from playing the game entirely. Which absolutely should have been seen in testing as it seems to be a coding issue

Hi Rifull,

I'm sorry that you were frustrated by this error! We do test every patch on our Alpha Server. This error had not occurred on the Alpha Server, but has strangely occurred when released to the publicly. Unfortunately, these situations do happen but we are working hard to fix the problem as soon as we possibly can. I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced with this issue!

Pretty old maybe, but still totally functioning. And according to wikipedia, winxp is still 37% of users, that's a big really big share.
