IR needs to be nerfed, but you're really nerfing it for DEX users and not for non-dex users?! That seems ass backwards and terrible design.

it's on top of all completely stupid, this is a "rangers-need-some-love" patch to buff them and make them starting area more attractive ...
IR Needed a nerf probably, but it's nerfing dext users, AKA = RANGERS.

ES still can do CI/GR/VP which is retardedly strong.

I don't understand why 10k life/ES should be easy. I do think life should be easier than "get kaom's rofl" though, but yeah.

In other news, excited about the updates.
Got an 85 ranger that is looking for a respec, and is still using a thicket bow (102-244 phys, had it since day 3 of Open Beta)
Got a build that's going to slightly change that I haven't started leveling yet but have created a skill tree for...
And got my Marauder which may change slightly - it's at least gaining 8% life, so there's that.

Shame that Acrobatics still is 6 nodes, still think it should be 5.

Does this mean pre 0.11.2:

if you were shocked and took reflect damage that that the reflected amount was not increased by the shock stacks?

Shocked monsters took extra damage, but the damage reflected was not based on the full shock damage?

Funny, mine is full of online ppl. And I looked at anarchy ladder sooner today, the player ranked 15 000 is level 61, which means there's 15 000 players with a character > lvl 61 in this recent league.

i wasnt talking about your friend list. my friends have left. I have friends on my list that played daily since month and are level 84+

they have left, either of boredom doing the same maps over and over, or out of frustration because they couldnt get any other maps than max level 68 maybe 69....


I want a skill reset for this CI nerf. i had to invest at least 10 skill points to get there.
There is a reason the witch area has life nodes and the best chaos res nodes. Maybe try a non ci build.

So with the nerf to dex based IR rangers can the devs tell us what dex is actually meant to be used for?,
it cant be for evasion as with the way THEY MADE more damaging hits easier to land going evasion is eventual certain suicide.

So that only leaves dex giving you a small amount to, to hit compared to the other main stats its very very weak.

At least the old IR let us use dex like str for armor with IR now dex dosent even have that.

They give with one hand only to take more away with the other.As i find myself thinking very often why did they choose to do that.But ofc the one thing we want to know they are as alway totally silent on.

Dont change IR till you have fixed/reworked evasion.

I dont know why are they nerfing IR for dex users. I wanted to go CI and since I am poor i cant afford eye of chayula so i went to unwavering stance, since unwavering stance removes my evasion i decided to pick up IR. I started shadow cause the CI node is close and i can get alot of crit nodes and on my way to IR and US i would pick alot of dex nodes which will give me evasion that im going to convert to armor. I have over 300 dex and the evasion bonus is around 60%. If the impact on the damage reduction is too much i am goint to respec. Atleast i hope GGG will give us a full respec of the passive tree if the changes prove too much for us.

The ES problem i think is with the high values of ES an ES item can have. Its not that important to have much ES form the passive tree. What really breaks the CI builds, in my opinion, is when a CI character finds a 1000(even 600 is alot) ES item. If they reduce the maximum value of ES that an item can have it would balance the things. This is the same reason why Kaoms Heart is so powerful and expensive item. It gives 1000 life and the most life from an item is rarely over 100(i dont know if it can be higher).

It seems now the only viable use for IR is if an armor user wants to run grace for the xtra protection. IF only the developers could please explain why they took that decision.
