Evasion + Iron Reflexes vs. Armor
" " Correct me if I'm wrong, but that means you want them to lower the numbers for evasion across pieces of gear to effectively give the same amount armor pieces would give when converted to armor using Iron Reflexes, and to give pure evasion outside of Iron Reflexes a boost in mechanics or the evade equation.. Correct? If that's the case, would that not be an Iron Reflexes nerf because people would no longer be able to get the old values of armor through evasion gear that they could get now, because it would be no different than the current values for pure Armor? Example, if an Armor Gear would give 1k Armor, and a similar Evasion gear would give 1k (evasion) that becomes 1200 armor with the Dexterity bonus, you think an apropos fix would be that Evasion armor changed to be 800 Evasion so that ends up giving 1k armor also? Once again, I don't think Iron Reflexes is balanced either, but "nerf it so I don't HAVE to use it" is always lame. Just don't use it. IGN: NoahsArChen "Oh awesome, this guy posted his current gear. " Yeah, you're right about that being a nerf and I'm not down for that. Either lower the evasion values on gear and buff evasion effectiveness (evade more, but diminish with amount of mobs hitting on you) and buff Iron Reflexes (convert 125% of Evasion to Armor) or just increase the armor values on gear to compensate. While these ideas are short-sighted, I'm sure they can figure something out that doesn't make pure armor gear a joke. To build an effective tank it seems you must use evasion gear and evasion aura converted to armor, which is damn silly. |
