I would love for something like this to be feasible but at the moment I'm thinking there may not be a big enough player base to make a go at it.

I'd like to think I'm one of the main organizers when it comes to 3v3, both in lld and more recently merc.

For awhile there in lld, we were lucky to get 6 players in the 3v3 queue, usually around 4-6 pm EST in the EU gateway. Most days not.

That's fighting tooth and nail trying to recruit people when enough were online. I'm sure most of you guys saw me constantly spamming social chat. :) And the player base seems to be smaller since then.

Many wanted to farm instead (including some that have already replied to this thread), or would quit after a few matches if they felt the random teams weren't fair enough.

I feel if team fights were arranged at this point, we'd have one OP team spank all the rest which would quickly lessen everyone's motivation to keep playing. Maybe if we had 5 times the participation it could work?

Sorry, I didn't want this post to come across as negative. I'm just wondering if it would be better to concentrate on getting 6 randoms queued at one time, let alone multiple teams of players?


Regardless... If I'm proven wrong (and I hope I am) and this works out for whatever reason, here's my info.
