Petrov's Elemental Bow Ranger Build(s) (0.10)

IS this build still viable, I noticed it was posted in August 2012????

Pretty sure he's been updating it as time goes on. Its as viable as it gets from what I've seen. Though I've only played one character.

May I ask a quick question please?

Is Resolute Technique necessary in the Most Popular build ( 2nd one )?

Yes indeed it is. I've been keeping it updated. The original build in August 2012 was a bit different and built more around diamond flasks.

i find shock tree aint worth it. gone for iron grip (have a high pyhsical hybrid thicket) and took life nodes from different links. with this tree, capping resistances looks easier.

For bandit rewards I suggest you help Oak in Normal to get the +40 base life increase, take the 6% Increased Attack Speed reward, but otherwise kill all bandits in Cruel and Merciless to get the skill point(s).

what is better for these builds who are based on the elemental dmg ? at bandit quest cruel ? 6% attack speed or skill point in cruel ?

Shock is really really good 40% 3stack 120% and in party its great.

Iron Grip dont give a lot of damage its good if u can take it for 1point buts its not worth to speed 5-6 point just for that , if you need more than 1 point its worth only inyou have a lyoneyes or bow with same physical damage

Capping resist to 80% and higher (good for ele weakness) is really easy, but get te cap resi(with only 2*15% res all in te tree) with lot of chaos resi is the real difficulty .
I have around 80-120% resi, 80 capped but -60% chaos its hard to find gear with 80/90 hp resi&chaos resi

i use the build similar to yours. I just wanna know, which setup is better for soloing maps/group maps

LA + LOH + WED + Chain + LMP

SA + LOH + WED + Chain + Faster attack

The problem is, i got a 20% LMP and 20% Split arrow. I really dunno which should i use, and which should i sell

I'm currently going after PETROV's all out dps shock build, but i re-made he's built a bit.

Is this build better or worse, i lose 3 health nodes but wouldn't this add more dmg and res instead?
